Minister Roy Almendarez & Family
Our minister in charge Roy Almendarez responded to God's call from a young age. In recent years, he has faithfully served as the minister of our congregation in Lubbock. Despite residing several hours away, brother Roy is deeply committed to the mission God has entrusted to him. He frequently travels with his family to lead our services and minister to those seeking a deeper relationship with God. His dedication and passion inspire our church community to pursue spiritual growth and outreach.
New Life Temple Apostolic Assembly was established to serve the spiritual needs of the Lubbock community. We are proud to be part of the rich tapestry of Apostolic faith in the region. Our congregation is dedicated to upholding the teachings of Jesus Christ and providing a place of worship, fellowship, and service.
As a Oneness Apostolic congregation, we adhere to the following core beliefs:
The Oneness of God: We believe in one, indivisible God who manifests Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in regeneration.
Salvation Through Jesus Christ: Salvation is obtained by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, involving repentance, water baptism in Jesus' name, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
Holy Living: We are called to live a life of holiness, reflecting the character of Christ in our daily conduct.
The Bible as the Inspired Word of God: The Scriptures are the authoritative and infallible guide for faith and practice.
The Second Coming of Christ: We anticipate the imminent return of Jesus Christ to gather His church and reign eternally.

We are honored to be affiliated with the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus, a denomination that emerged from the Pentecostal movement of the early 20th century. Founded in 1925, the Apostolic Assembly has a rich history of proclaiming the Oneness message and fostering vibrant, Spirit-filled congregations. Our affiliation connects us to a broader network of believers committed to the Apostolic doctrine and the advancement of God's kingdom
